A 60-year-old cable manufacturer

5 platforms, a fixed content library, and no paid budget. Here's what the reach looked like anyway.

The client is a family-owned cable manufacturer, founded in the 1960s, with factories across Europe and the UK. Serious engineering, real infrastructure projects, and almost no social presence for most of its history. This is an ongoing engagement, so the numbers on this page keep moving.

01 / the constraints

The interesting part is what we didn't have

constraint 01

No paid budget

Every impression on this page is organic. No boosts, no ads, no paid distribution of any kind.

constraint 02

A fixed content library

Factory photos, product shots, and project material that already existed. New content had to be built from what was there.

constraint 03

5 platforms, 1 person

Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, and LinkedIn, each with its own format logic, run as one coordinated system.

constraint 04

An industry nobody writes about

Cable manufacturing is not a trending topic. The audience had to be earned post by post, without a hype cycle to ride.

02 / the approach

A system built for volume without noise

1 library, 5 formats

Each piece of source material gets adapted per platform instead of cross-posted. Same story, native format everywhere.

Engineering as content

The factories, the machinery, the projects. The technical reality of the business is the content, because that's what the audience actually respects.

Everything approved upfront

Topics and posts run through a shared ClickUp workspace. A 60-year-old company's reputation gets handled like one.

What it looks like across the platforms

04 / the numbers so far

Reach, without the usual tools

488K

800+

The volume is the story here. 800+ posts is what a real multi-platform presence costs in work, and it's the part every "growth hack" conversation skips.

the finding

Unglamorous industries are the biggest organic opportunity on social right now. The feeds are empty, the audiences are professional, and a company that shows up consistently owns the space almost by default. This engagement keeps proving it, month after month.

Run a company nobody writes about?

Good. Those are the easiest wins on this platform, and I'll show you why on the call. Free, 30 minutes, honest read either way.
